§ 04
Background
From operations and accounting
to AI-native product leadership.
My background in accounting and running a commercial business changed the lens through which I evaluate product decisions. In a world where building software keeps getting cheaper, knowing what to build is the job — and that’s where a decade of P&L ownership actually matters.

Education & Credentials
The formal stuff,
and the self-directed kind.
B.S. Accounting & Finance
University of Northern Colorado · Greeley · Dean’s List · Beta Alpha Psi
The degree behind the finance background — it shows up when I’m building a business case, modeling ROI, or reading a 10-K.
20 Certifications since 2020
When I moved into product, I mapped the gaps and filled them systematically. An ongoing grind from 2020 through 2025.
Off the Clock
A few things worth knowing
Denver, CO. When the laptop’s closed: long days on a gravel or mountain bike in the Rockies, training Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and traveling and camping with my family and friends.
I take pictures when I ride. Something about being out long enough and slow enough to actually notice the landscape.
