§ 02

From operations and accounting
to AI-native product leadership.
The long way around is the better route.

My background in accounting and running a commercial business changed the lens through which I evaluate product decisions. In a world where building software keeps getting cheaper, knowing what to build is the job — and that's where a decade of P&L ownership actually matters.

§ 03

The formal stuff,
and the self-directed kind.

B.S. Accounting & Finance

University of Northern Colorado · Greeley  ·  Dean's List · Beta Alpha Psi

The degree that makes the finance background real, not claimed. Quantitative curriculum — it shows up when I'm building a business case, modeling ROI, or reading a 10-K.

20 Certifications since 2020

When I moved into product, I mapped the gaps and filled them systematically. Not a one-time push — an ongoing grind from 2020 through 2025.

A few things worth knowing

Based in Greenwood Village, CO. When I'm not in a product review or a Cowork session, I'm on a gravel or mountain bike in the Rockies, training BJJ, camping in a bean teardrop trailer, lifting, or wrenching on a tuned M235i. I tend to think the same way about all of them: understand the system, find the leverage points, iterate.
